Arrive at Mahé, Seychelles and meet our representative. Transfer to hotel and have time free for yourself. Overnight at Mahé.
DAY 2Seychelles- Mahé+
Today we explore the largest of the Islands, Mahé. Learn about the history, rituals, traditions and culture of Seychelles on your optional guided sightseeing tour of the main island- Mahé. Head to Victoria, the capital city of Seychelles, named after Queen Victoria during British rule. Visit Little Ben, which stands in the heart of Victoria, a landmark since 1903. Next, visit Saint Anne National Marine Park and Mission Lodge; see the ruins of what used to be a farm and boarding school for liberated slaves. Next, will be a delightful visit to Jardin du Roi , the spice garden inspired by the original 18th century gardens developed by the French to promote spice trading. The rows of Vanilla, Cinnamon, Citronelle, nutmeg and pepper send out a splendid aroma, the souvenir shop and museum offers you a little something to take home with you! After this legendary tour of Mahé, break for lunch at a local restaurant. Have the remaining day at leisure. Overnight in Mahé.
