Turn from city heritage towards the forest setting of Bandipur. The day is shaped around the journey and the landscape; a regulated safari can be considered only if a suitable slot is available and separately confirmed.

Towards Hampi • a journey through Karnataka

Travel onwards towards Hampi, leaving room for a substantial transfer day. The exact road, breaks and arrival time should be worked out with the operator; keep the evening light so the heritage sites can receive proper time tomorrow.

Allow generous time for the onward journey.
Take practical breaks selected by the local team.
If arrival permits, enjoy a first look at Hampi’s landscape without committing to a full sightseeing programme.

Spend the day discovering Hampi’s monumental landscape. The Virupaksha Temple area and the Vijaya Vittala complex, known for its stone chariot, are possible anchors for a carefully paced heritage day.

Choose a manageable circuit with time to look closely rather than rush.
Confirm entry tickets, local transport and any guide separately.
Respect active places of worship and the protected monuments.

Continue towards Badami for a different expression of Karnataka’s heritage. Its sandstone setting and cave temples make a compelling focus; the area around Agastya Lake is another possible stop if time and access allow.

Balance the travel stage with a realistic number of visits.
Expect steps and uneven ground around the heritage sites.
Ticketing, guided visits and the final sightseeing order need confirmation.

Badami to Dandeli • towards the river country

Move onwards from Badami towards Dandeli. Let this be a transition day from stone monuments to the greener landscape around the Kali River, with a flexible arrival and time to slow down.

Confirm the transfer plan and arrival point with the operator.
Keep any riverside outing dependent on daylight and local access.

Dandeli • choose your pace

Keep a full day around Dandeli to choose between a gentle nature outing and an optional river activity. The Kali River is part of the region’s appeal, but water activities depend on operating conditions and suitable local arrangements.

Ask about available guided nature walks or quieter local outings.
Rafting, if offered, requires separate confirmation, suitability checks and payment.
Leave time simply to enjoy the surroundings; wildlife sightings are never promised.

Close the suggested Karnataka circuit in Dandeli. A little spare time here keeps the last day adaptable, whether that means a quiet morning or an earlier start for your onward journey.
