The Northern Lights in Norway, or Aurora Borealis, are a spectacular natural light show visible from Northern Norway during the autumn and winter months, typically from September to March. They are caused by charged solar particles colliding with Earth's magnetic field and upper atmosphere, creating glowing, dancing colors like green, red, and blue. To best see the lights, find a spot in the auroral zone north of the Arctic Circle, away from city lights, on a clear, dark night.
