The Best Dive Destinations
Heaven without identifications is what this coral island anchor is to American jumpers who rush to this special objective, which has likewise allured privateers, writers, and performing craftsmen. Key Largo, Islamorada and Tavernier, Marathon, the Lower Keys, and Key West - are five unmistakable areas that comprise what local people warmly call the "Conch Republic," and all deal with an extraordinary mix of wrecks and reefs.
Key Largo

Additionally, the Gulf Stream passes exceptionally close to the island, washing its reefs in fabulously clear waters.
Islamorada and Tavernier
The fish found in the shallow pads encompassing this group of keys - powerful sailfish, insatiable lord mackerel, monstrous tarpon - are the stuff of legend for fishermen who come here to do some genuine fishing. Yet, Islamorada likewise offers jumpers an opportunity to get on plunge destinations that are unbelievable. Withdrawing from Tavernier Creek, plunge boats head for locales in the two bearings, to the reefs at the southern edge of Key Largo, and to destinations south of Islamorada.
Long-distance race
Seeing this local area at 55 mph while moving down the Overseas Highway doesn't do it equity - the features of the suburbs conceal the tranquil excellence of the trenches and ocean side on Marathon's offshore side. Sombrero Beach, in the core of Marathon, is presumably the best oceanside in the Keys. It's gently visited, and a secret gem for any guest of the Middle Keys. Reward: Delta Airlines presently offers ordinary assistance in Atlanta and the Florida Keys Airport in Marathon.
Lower Keys
The speed is a piece more slowly here than in a large part of the Upper Keys, and surely more so than in high-energy Key West. The jumping on the broad Looe Key reef framework is among the most incredible in all the Keys, and wreck devotees will track down a lot to adore on the well-known Adolphus Busch Sr. An additional addition for guests who like to chill: Bahia Honda State Park offers a few lovely open seashores, a unique case among Marathon and Key West.
Key West
It's the stopping point, Mile Marker Zero, and for a large number of vacationers, the sole motivation to come to the Keys in any case. Most guests - bikers, flower children, specialists, Parrotheads, even grandmas - come for the pleasantness that unique Key West offers. Yet, assuming that you think jumping is a bit of hindsight here, reconsider. The reef arrangement of the Western Sambo save, south of Boca Chica, fills in as bringing forth and nursing justification for marine life. The Upper Keys could get the vast majority of jumpers, however, Key West plunging ought not to be disregarded.
